The Vietnam National Brand Program was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 253/2003/QD-TTg dated November 25, 2003, assigning the Ministry of Industry and Trade to be the standing agency, responsible for coordinating with other Deployment ministry and branch. National Brand is the only program of the Government of Vietnam conducted with the purpose of promoting national image, national brand through product branding. The logo for the National Brand titled “Vietnam Value” is awarded to products that have their own brands, which meet the criteria set by the Program.
